With the partnership between Xbox and OPI, the world’s number one nail polish brand, the collection will be available in retail stores where OPI products are sold, such as ULTA. According to Xbox News, with each qualifying purchase, U.S players can unlock special in-game content for Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite that will be creatively shade-matched to the player’s polish.

For nail polish lovers who also game, this could be considered a dream come true, as players can now match their nails with Xbox Game Pass titles and gaming jargon. For example, nail polish names such as Achievement Unlocked, which comes in lilac, or the relatable phrase, You Had Me At Halo, which comes in galactic blue, are a few to name from the palette of 12 hues. Players can also enter a contest to win a custom Xbox Wireless Controller in one of the top trending hues - Achievement Unlocked, Racing for Pinks, and Can’t CTRL ME giving pink, lavender, and purple tones to pair with their nail art.
“We’re thrilled to partner with OPI to unveil mesmerizing nail polish colors inspired by gaming and your favorite titles on Xbox Game Pass,” said Marcos Waltenberg, Xbox Global Partnerships Director. “We hope this collection inspires fans across the globe to embrace their creativity and imagination through nail art and color.” With the relatability in the polish names and different types of polish such the nail lacquer and infinite shine, players have plenty to choose from when deciding which matches their style, and possible controller. Other options are the GelColor and Powder Perfection, but these are in-salon professional services only.
Spring 2022 brings exciting news for Xbox players, starting with this nail polish collaboration. As they announce this partnership, OPI and Xbox plan to team up with prominent creators from the gaming industry to bring this fantastic collaboration to life.
Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite are available now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
