Despite some disappointment in Destiny 2’s kinetic weapons introduced by the latest expansion, Season of the Chosen has been met with mostly positive comments. However, that doesn’t mean everything is going swimmingly. When some gamers found a slogan pop up, however briefly it did appear, there were comments made about its background. Recently, gamers have had their first chance to see whether Destiny has lived up to its, well, destiny. A closed beta ran for pre-order customers last week, comprising of four story levels, four multiplayer maps and one Strike mission. Bungie had put plenty of effort into the beta, seeing it as a “first date” with gamers and the first step towards earning the right to make Destiny into a franchise....

Those who were fortunate enough to receive the email were quickly disappointed to learn that the survey it links to is not up-and-running. Instead, the link takes those who click it to a page that informs all who visit that the “survey is not live.” Below this proclamation is text that states that the survey has been suspended “for the time being due to technical difficulties.” Bungie then reassures those who visit the page that they haven’t missed out on the beta, and that they will be contacted again once everything is sorted out....
