As seen in the tweet below from Bungie’s official Twitter account, the developer explains that Guardians will be able to earn Tokens by playing Destiny 2’s Iron Banner, with those who win earning more than those who don’t. These Tokens are capable of being redeemed with Lord Saladin to earn certain rewards, with the most notable being the event’s armor, and its currently unrevealed weaponry. As of now, there’s no telling what kind of guns and ordnance will be on-hand as rewards for Destiny 2’s first Iron Banner....

Season of the Chosen saw Guardians battle Empress Caiatl’s Cabal after the latter’s homeworld was ravaged by the Hive god Xivu Arath and Caiatl’s attempts to bring The Last City under her reign. As the city and Caiatl are now on peaceful terms, Guardians’ gazes turn toward what new threat could be looming on the horizon. Joe Blackburn, a former Bungie alum who has recently rejoined the company as Assistant Game Director in Destiny 2, gave fans a lengthy update as to what the team is working on and analyzing certain elements in Season of the Hunt that maybe didn’t go so well. Naturally, the topic of weapon sunsetting came up, with Blackburn acknowledging that the studio went a bit too far with taking weapons away and not supplying players with a large initial reward pool in Beyond Light....

The four firemen of Engine Crew 57 died Thursday morning as they fought to save a house from onrushing fires near Twin Pines, Calif. Engine Capt. Mark Loutzenhiser, 44, left five children. Also killed were Jess McLean and Jason McKay, both 27, and Daniel Hoover-Najera, 23. Pablo Cerda, 23, lay in critical condition in a local hospital with burns over 90 percent of his body. Doctors called his prognosis poor....

Bungie has been active in the past in banning players detected of cheating, especially in the endgame PvP mode, Trials of Osiris.
