Parks and Recreation is a top-notch comfort show. Every episode is packed with laughs, relatability, and the perfect amount of foolishness. The show follows Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), a civil servant working for the Department of Parks and Recreation in the small fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Within the parks department, Leslie is accompanied by the anti-government director, Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman), the showy wanna-be-influencer Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari), and the deadpan intern April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza)....

While we may never get the full story on O’Donnell’s termination, Bungie has come forward to set the record straight on their state of affairs. Most importantly, they have assured gamers that their highly anticipated release, Destiny, is “close to shipping” and should make its September release date. Although O’Donnell was actually let go on April 11th, the news of his departure was not revealed until late Tuesday night. With a Destiny media event scheduled for this week, it appears Bungie wanted to get the news out now, even if it might have been shocking to fans, before too many speculative questions arose....

According to a deal between Activision and Bungie — a deal that only came to light as result of this Call of Duty case — the publisher tasked Bungie with the development of four sci-fi shooter projects all with the code name Destiny. The first project in the ‘Destiny’ deal would be an Xbox 360 (or Xbox 720/Durango) exclusive, while the next three would launch on all three platforms....

It could be that Matter has a cousin in another shooter that Bungie isn’t involved with. Another loot-driven sci-fi shooter that’s popular right now is Borderlands 3, the thriving continuation of Gearbox Software’s billion dollar franchise. Based on job descriptions for Matter, Bungie’s mysterious project might actually be significantly more like Borderlands than Destiny. It’ll be a very new kind of tone for Bungie, so it’s interesting to think about what direction the studio wants to go in and what other games in the genre it’ll take inspiration from....

So far, Destiny fans knew that Rise of Iron would add a large amount of content, including new story missions, a raid, and new Crucible maps and modes (and private matches). In the long term, fans are expecting to see a full-fledged sequel in the fall of 2017 (although Bungie has yet to announce when in 2017 Destiny 2 is coming). That leaves about an entire year in between the release of Rise of Iron and Destiny 2....

Throughout the season, I noticed similar events all around me. Parents seemed hard pressed to find new thrills for nonchalant kids. Christopher Taplin, 33, was supposed to drop the 13-year-old off on Monday morning at her middle school in Brusly, Louisiana. The bus driver let other students off but kept the girl on board alone. The Brusly Police Department said that Taplin held the student on board for about 10 minutes, according to local news stations. He spent this time allegedly professing his love for the girl and “pouring his heart out to her,” making inappropriate comments before he allowed her to leave, said police....

The group, who were reported to also not have bus tickets, were said to have repeatedly punched the bus driver, in his 50s, when he tried to prevent them from entering the bus. Police confirmed the driver was declared brain dead by doctors on Monday after arriving unconscious at the hospital following the incident, which took place in the city of Bayonne in the Basque Country region. The driver was said to have stepped out of the bus before he was hit in the head by one of the people in the group....

Busch won for the fifth time this season and 68th time in his career in NASCAR’s second-tier series. He led 101 of the 200 laps on the mile concrete track for the season sweep. Polesitter Joey Logano was second. Chase Elliott, Chris Buescher and Elliott Sadler completed the top five. Elliott maintained his grip on the points lead with five races left. Busch won at Dover for the fifth time in the Nationwide Series....

Busch won his second pole of the season with a record average speed of 138.130 mph around the 1-mile oval. Johnson was second at 137.790 mph.
